Care Guide

Resin

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid solvents, nail polish remover, perfume and alcohol-based sprays, all of which will dull or mark the surface. Keep resin out of prolonged direct sunlight - UV yellows epoxy over time. Coasters and trays tolerate warm cups but use a mat under anything straight off the stove.

Candles

  • Trim the wick to about 5 mm before every lighting
  • On the first burn, let the pool reach the edge so the candle does not tunnel
  • Burn 2 to 3 hours at a time, on a heat-safe surface, never unattended
  • Remove decorative wax flowers and fruit from the pool before lighting
  • Stop using a container candle when about 1 cm of wax is left
  • Store out of direct sunlight - wax softens and colours fade

Painted stone

Dust with a soft dry cloth or brush. The varnish is hard-wearing but not indestructible; keychains will pick up scratches from keys over the years, which most owners come to like. Display indoors and away from direct sun.

Relief paintings and plates

Dust with a soft dry brush rather than a cloth, which can catch on the raised detail. Never wipe raised areas with anything damp. Hang away from damp walls and out of direct sunlight.

Jewellery

Remove before bathing or swimming. Store flat in a pouch so chains do not tangle and resin does not rub against harder stones.
