Ivory and Coral Peony Layered Glass Candle

Poured in layers so the glass reads like strata — deep indigo through mid-blue to white, or clean white through blush to rose — then topped with a large open peony carved in wax, its petals ruffled and tipped in a second colour.

The peony sits proud of the rim, so the candle has real presence unlit. Burn it and the bloom slowly relaxes into the pool.

• Materials: Soy wax, cotton wick, clear glass tumbler, pigmented wax bloom
• Dimensions: Glass approx. 8 cm tall x 8 cm diameter
• Care: Trim wick to 5 mm. Do not move while the wax is liquid. Discontinue use with 1 cm of wax remaining.

Handmade in small batches by Chitra in Dehradun. Because every piece is made by hand, small variations in colour and finish are part of the work.

Dispatched from the studio within 3 to 5 working days. Most pieces are made or finished to order, so please allow a little longer during festival weeks.

Fragile items - resin trays, relief plates and glass candles - are wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and a rigid outer carton.

If a piece arrives damaged, send a photograph within 48 hours of delivery and it will be replaced or refunded in full.

Because most work is one of a kind or made to order, we cannot accept returns for change of mind. Do ask any question before ordering - happy to send more photographs.

Everything here is worked by hand in small batches. Colour, grain, bloom placement and the way resin or ink settles will differ a little from the photographs.

These differences are the record of the piece being made rather than moulded, and are not treated as faults.
