Neelkanth - The Mahadev

*Har Har Mahadev! 🔱 Presenting: Neelkanth - The Divine Meditator Stone Art*

This is a one-of-a-kind *hand-painted oval stone idol* of Lord Shiva, created by Welcome to Serenity.

*1. The Main Idol (Top Part):*

- *Colour & Texture:* Deep ocean blue and turquoise with glossy finish, giving a calm but powerful look. Your brush strokes are clearly visible, which makes it look handmade and premium.

- *Mahadev's Face:* Eyes are closed in *Dhyan Mudra (deep meditation)*. Blue skin with Tripundra (3 white lines) and black third eye on forehead, golden hoop earrings, soft pink lips.

- *Jata & Chandra:* Long black flowing Jata (matted hair) with a small white *Chandramukut (crescent moon)* on top.

- *Trishul:* On the left side, a bright *golden Trishul with red centre and Damru*, tied with flowing saffron-red cloth - this pops out in 3D.

*2. The Base (Bottom Part - Shamshan Tatva):*

- The rectangular base is painted in teal-green, showing Shiva as *Smashaneshwar - Lord of Life & Death*.

- You have sculpted *5 small white skulls (mund) with red eyes*, tiny bones, and *5-6 colorful snakes* - yellow, blue, brown, black - coiled around the skulls. One cobra is rising near Mahadev's shoulder, protecting him. This shows the cycle of creation and destruction.

*3. The Mantra:*

Handwritten in beautiful white Devanagari at the bottom:

> *कर्पूरगौरं करुणावतारं संसारसारं भुजगेन्द्रहारम्।*

> *सदा वसन्तं हृदयारविन्दे भवं भवानी सहितं नमामि॥ ॐ*

Dispatched from the studio within 3 to 5 working days. Most pieces are made or finished to order, so please allow a little longer during festival weeks.

Fragile items - resin trays, relief plates and glass candles - are wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and a rigid outer carton.

If a piece arrives damaged, send a photograph within 48 hours of delivery and it will be replaced or refunded in full.

Because most work is one of a kind or made to order, we cannot accept returns for change of mind. Do ask any question before ordering - happy to send more photographs.

Everything here is worked by hand in small batches. Colour, grain, bloom placement and the way resin or ink settles will differ a little from the photographs.

These differences are the record of the piece being made rather than moulded, and are not treated as faults.
