About this item
Painted in the Pichwai manner of Nathdwara: a white cow in profile against a deep saffron ground, her body outlined in fine black, a patterned jhool laid over her back in emerald, crimson and white, lotus blooms rising at either side and a scatter of small white motifs across the field.
The border is banded in vermilion and cream and finished with a row of white dots. Painted freehand on a round board, without transfer or stencil. Lippan art

About handmade variation
Everything here is worked by hand in small batches. Colour, grain, bloom placement and the way resin or ink settles will differ a little from the photographs.
These differences are the record of the piece being made rather than moulded, and are not treated as faults.
