Red Rose Pillar Candle

One rose, moulded and then finished by hand petal by petal so the outer leaves curl back the way a real bloom does. The colour is poured as a gradient, deep crimson at the crown falling to warm gold at the base.

It burns from the centre down, leaving the outer petals standing as a shell, which is worth watching.

Details

• Materials: Paraffin and soy wax blend, cotton wick, wax pigments
• Dimensions: Approx. 9 cm tall x 8 cm across
• Care: Trim wick to 5 mm. Burn 2 hours at a time on a heat-safe dish.

Handmade in small batches by Chitra in Dehradun. Because every piece is made by hand, small variations in colour and finish are part of the work.

Dispatched from the studio within 3 to 5 working days. Most pieces are made or finished to order, so please allow a little longer during festival weeks.

Fragile items - resin trays, relief plates and glass candles - are wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and a rigid outer carton.

If a piece arrives damaged, send a photograph within 48 hours of delivery and it will be replaced or refunded in full.

Because most work is one of a kind or made to order, we cannot accept returns for change of mind. Do ask any question before ordering - happy to send more photographs.

Everything here is worked by hand in small batches. Colour, grain, bloom placement and the way resin or ink settles will differ a little from the photographs.

These differences are the record of the piece being made rather than moulded, and are not treated as faults.
