Rose and Violet Gayatri Mantra Resin Wall Hanging

A round disc of clear resin with the Gayatri Mantra set at the centre in gold, encircled by a wreath of fine gold leaf. Around that, alcohol ink is dropped into the wet resin and allowed to bloom outward on its own — rose and violet, or the full spectrum, or a soft pink and gold.

One version is edged with small white beads pressed into the rim. Each hangs from a braided cord with a long silk tassel below.

Made for a doorway, a puja room or above a desk. Because the ink is left to move by itself, no two discs bloom the same way.

• Materials: Epoxy resin, gold leaf, alcohol ink, glass beads, braided cord, silk tassel
• Dimensions: Disc approx. 10 cm diameter; overall drop approx. 30 cm with tassel
• Care: Dust with a dry cloth. Hang away from direct sunlight and from a working stove.

Handmade in small batches by Chitra in Dehradun. Because every piece is made by hand, small variations in colour and finish are part of the work.

Dispatched from the studio within 3 to 5 working days. Most pieces are made or finished to order, so please allow a little longer during festival weeks.

Fragile items - resin trays, relief plates and glass candles - are wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and a rigid outer carton.

If a piece arrives damaged, send a photograph within 48 hours of delivery and it will be replaced or refunded in full.

Because most work is one of a kind or made to order, we cannot accept returns for change of mind. Do ask any question before ordering - happy to send more photographs.

Everything here is worked by hand in small batches. Colour, grain, bloom placement and the way resin or ink settles will differ a little from the photographs.

These differences are the record of the piece being made rather than moulded, and are not treated as faults.
